Mmk, so I took pictures. Well, I uploaded them anyway. My before/after sorta photos. My dreads are still like little braids, and they're small. It'll take me a while to get that gorgeous lock look, sicne it takes a long time to grow out and mature. But I'm sorta getting attached to them even though I think they still look silly.












OW OW OW OW OW!

I was there for SIX HOURS having my hair knotted, pulled, tugged, twisted, and yanked! AUGH! And $230 later I'm done. I can't exactly say I have a confident skip in my step right now- it looks sort of silly, but the dreads need 2 weeks to set anyway. I itch like hell and...grr. So yeah. IF you have had dreads before or actually are the proud owner of some locks, how long will it take them to mature so they don't look like wimpy, wet braids?

Actually, those aren't real dreads or locks, they are called " Dread Falls " And can type or loop around your hair like a scrunchy if you have a ponytail or buns. You can purchase them online, or sometimes in wig stores. Personally I got them from [link] ( just search under 'dread falls' ). Be warned though- they're not cheap, especially if you're going for a good quality set.
Mine are red and black, but you can get them in many different colors and don't require maintenance- like I said, the entire clump of dreads comes on a scrunchie and you just put that one thing in your hair over a ponytail or bun.

oi! how did u get your hair to do that?? with the green and stuff omg i love it. iv been trying to figure out how to get decent neon green in mah hair, but its black and doesnt like to change colors XD

I already found it, contacted the owner- It's not for sale. Many things aren't, but most people will part with something for the right price. I'm in the process of getting eric's bloody wardrobe, as well as Hoyt's stunt knife, and I have the sledgehammer used to kill the slaughterhouse supervisor shipping on it's way. I hope to get lots of pictures of it up on D.A when it arrives.
